SuitabilityNormal/low grease production DescriptionThe system monitors kitchen air quality in real time, around the clock. The OptiDemand sensor measures indoor air in the kitchen using several variables, providing reliable information on the kitchen’s utilization rate. The sensors track occupancy, temperature, humidity, fine particles, TVOC levels, and carbon dioxide. Based on workstation-specific information, ventilation can be adjusted in real time as needed. The local adjustments are seamlessly combined with control of the building’s ventilation system. With overall control, the ventilation works at optimal power in all situations, resulting in significant energy savings. The system generates a single control signal, which makes it easy to control the air handling unit or the OptiDemand control damper. The system communicates with building automation via a reliable ModBus connection. Easy adjustment and measurement with ultrasoundThe OptiDemand solution also includes an airflow controller that utilizes ultrasonic measurement. It is designed to control variable airflow and function as a constant airflow device. The device measures not only airflow but also duct air temperature. Air volumes are measured accurately without pressure loss, and dirt or grease does not affect measurement accuracy. The airflow controller is compatible with all Climecon hoods and ventilation ceiling systems.
