LINE valves come first in the European Product Design Award competition

Our contribution to Nordic design has been recognized globally since LINE valves received a gold medal for the best HVAC product in the design competition. The European Product Design Award™ rewards international product and industrial designers. The competition’s international jury evaluates the design based on innovation, aesthetics, functionality, durability, and usefulness.

The collection of VIVA wall diffusers received an honorable mention in 2021, and LINE valves are now the second innovation to reach such recognition in the ventilation field at the European Product Design Award competition.

LINE is a stylish and advanced valve for residential premises. The collection has been developed in collaboration with industrial design and interior design professionals and Climecon’s ventilation experts. Minna Haapakoski, a distinguished design professional and interior designer who has been providing interior design services for private and public spaces for 15 years, was involved in the product development project of our LINE collection.

The starting point for the cooperation was to combine interior design and ventilation with stylish valves. With the LINE collection, products’ streamlined graphic shapes and the materials seen in ventilation for the first time offer architects, interior designers, and those building and renovating their own houses extensive opportunities to finish an interior decor with valves. Minimalistic shapes and classic color options are timeless and versatile in interior design.
